About
Love Shack" - radio play about radio station takeover
The revolution will not be televised, but it will be broadcast on radio! In honor of (or at least in tandem with) the wide release of Steven Soderbergh's "Che," a biopic about the revolutionary leader Che Guevara, here is a little comic radio play I made about 10 years ago. It's called "Love Shack," and it's about two revolutionaries named Che and Vlad who take over a local radio station during a sex advice program. They learn a bit about themselves, and the connection between love and revolution, in the process. The play features me and my friends Sam and Janet in the starring roles. Okay, maybe it's going overboard to say "starring" roles, because that might imply the play made us stars, which it didn't, because this was never broadcast on radio and only about 10 people have ever heard it. But you get the idea.
