My wife and my plan is to run oururrent toons to 70 then work on an alt. I planned on playing my Priest and she wanted to play on her mage. Is this a viable group? I am not extly sure how to gear a mage but I thought Mages and priests geared similarly. I am asking here in the mage forum bause I know Ian get a gearing persptive on a mage. Meh... mage and priests work well together, espially if the mage is doing AOE grinding. I'd say, personally, that a meleelass would work better with a mage (like a rogue, warrior, shaman), or a petlass (warlk or hunter). It'll be ne to have a healer so shean keep you alive (even ner is she's shadow and will give you health & mana). I have
leveled aouple ofharters with my wife and I'd say the best fit was MagePaladin bause the pallyould tank & heal. The mage sat bk and nuked. That said, mage + priest should be able to blow through most quests just as 2harters of anylassan. Have fun with the wife and pk 2 toons you like to play. :-)
